What does "FFL On File" and "FFL Not on File" Mean?
"On File" means that we have a current, valid copy of this dealer's FFL License. All you have to do is contact the dealer to make sure they will accept your firearm transfer(s).
"Not On File" means that we DO NOT have a current, valid copy of this dealer's FFL License. It is your responsibility to contact the dealer and request a copy. FFL Licenses can be submitted here. In addition, you must also contact the dealer to make sure they will accept your FFL required item transfer(s).
How does shipping firearms and other FFL required items work?
Will my order be processed and shipped if Classic Firearms doesn't have my selected dealer's license on file?
Your order will sit in a pending status until we receive and review your selected dealer's FFL License. This process typically takes 1-3 business days but may take longer during busy periods.
What happens if the dealer does not accept the delivery and the items get sent back?
You must contact the dealer to make sure they will accept your FFL required item transfer(s). If an item gets sent back to Classic Firearms, you are responsible for any return shipping and fees associated with the returned items.
