(vs 8 in the original TT), The pistols in this particular lot were all produced with special finishes either for special officer issue or in order to use them in parade style ceremonies. They are distinctive pieces and quite nice. All are chambered in 7.62x25 caliber and feature frame style safeties. Made by Zastava Arms. FFL Required. Made in the famous Zastava factory in Serbia., the M57 is chambered in the powerful 7.62x25mm Tokarev caliber. Built to exacting military specifications, these solid steel pistols are simple to field strip and a dream to clean! Barrel: 4.5", Overall: 7.75", Weight: 1.7 lbs. Note : In order to import any pistol into the country trade regulations say that the pistol must have a safety. As you know many military pistols, particularly single-action semi-autos such as the M57 seen here, did not originally have factory safety's and as such have to be retrofitted with some sort of aftermarket safety to make them eligible for import. These have all had a cock and lock style frame safety added to the frame to make them compliant. They are actually done very well. Condition: Surplus Very Good.
