From Ben's Private Collection - Original Yugoslavian M59/66 SKS Rifle, 7.62x39, Semi-Auto, All Matching, Excellent Cond, Ser # K-413169, C& R Eligible

This Firearm Will Be Posting In January 2025 - Beautiful Yugo SKS Rifle - I have had this rifle in my safe for a long time now. I do know the history of this rifle because I picked it out. This rifle came from Samco Global Arms and was one of the rifles in their inventory when they closed their doors and went to auction around 2015. I went down to Miami to inspect their inventory at the invitation of the auction company, and while we did not end up buying the entirety of the inventory, I was able to cherry pick a couple of rifles. As such, it does have an import stamp on it and you will see it marked as Samco, Miami Florida under the cleaning rod and bayonet on the bottom of the barrel. I always admired the fact that Samco respected the integrity of surplus and kept their import stamps as small and unobtrusive as possible. This rifle looks new inside and out with a beautiful wood stock featuring good grain and some nice color contrast, as well as a deep, rich blued finish on the metal. The rifle also features the grenade launcher barrel which was common to Yugo SKS's, as well as the folding blade style bayonet. Bore is pristine and looks as un-fired as the rest of the rifle. In my opinion, this gun is museum quality. SKS rifles have always had a special place in my heart as they are what got me started in surplus, and this is a wonderful, rare example of a very nice one. I have been proud to have in my collection and I'm sure that you would enjoy having in yours. I have never fired this rifle but it dry functions properly and is 100% intact. The rifle ships in a hard case for maximum protection. This rifle has been represented here through images and description with 100% accuracy as I know it and if you are not comfortable buying it based on this information Do Not Make the Purchase. All sales are final on this rifle. This rifle is C&R Eligible. The back story. Over the last 30 plus years in the gun business I have acquired some really nice surplus firearms. These guns came from Gun Shows, private collections, and private individuals that I have met along the way, as well as, on occasion, what I would deem as the best of a particular lot when it came in here to Classic. Well, all good things must end and at this point in my life it is time to downsize a little and that includes letting go of some of these "Gun Safe Queens" that I have typically only pulled out to clean ever so often. Now don't get me wrong, there was a time when I would not have even considered giving up one of these firearms as they have been very special to me. However, my daughters show no interest in inheriting them, and I've decided that I would rather see them in the hands of folks that would relish them, than to have them to continue sit in a dark safe here at Classic. Each gun from my private collection is unique and they will sell individually by serial #, so when that gun is gone, it is gone and irreplaceable. At least from me.
