The Browning 035542297 X-Bolt is not just a rifle, but an enhanced version of its predecessors making it the apex of Browning's creations. Featuring our innovative three-lever Feather Trigger system, this rifle offers a smooth, clean trigger pull free from take-up and creep, and minimal overtravel.
To ensure consistent accuracy, the X-Bolt is designed with floating space between the barrel and stock. This is achieved by bedding both the front and rear of the action for extra stability and to maintain the required barrel to stock spacing.
The X-Bolt boasts a recessed muzzle crown that significanty protects the rifling from potential damage. Additionally, the X-Bolt is equipped with a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Constructed with exclusive materials, this recoil pad promotes a directional deflection of recoil forces. This mechanism pulls the stock comb away from your face in order to reduce felt recoil and muzzle climb.
For enhanced safety measures when checking and unloading the chamber, the X-Bolt offers a bolt unlock button. This button works in conjunction with a top-tang safety system.
This Pro model X-Bolt is superior in its aesthetic appeal and durability with a carbon fiber stock and cerakote carbon gray elite metal finish. Furthermore, it includes a skip fluted sporter barrel and comes with a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake that also includes a thread protector.
