Browning 035540288: The X-Bolt rifle is a refined progression of past Browning designs, incorporating several enhancements that elevate its performance. Its cutting-edge three-lever Feather Trigger delivers a smooth, identifiable pull with negligible take-up or creep, and limited overtravel, enabling greater precision. The action of the X-Bolt is free-floated, with bedding at both front and rear of the action for greater stability, and to ensure consistent accuracy by maintaining a constant barrel to stock spacing. For added durability, a recessed muzzle crown is designed to shield the rifling from potential harm.
The X-Bolt also features the Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, uniquely constructed and crafted from specifically chosen materials. The recoil pad cleverly redirects recoil forces by shifting the stock comb away from face level, effectively mitigating the effects of recoil and muzzle climb. To facilitate safe handling when checking and unloading the chamber, the X-Bolt includes a bolt unlock button that operates in concert with the top-tang safety.
All of these features come together in the robust Mountain Pro model. This variant is equipped with a durable carbon fiber stock garnished with eye-catching accent graphics, a protective cerakote tungsten metal finish, a specially crafted, spiral-fluted, and lapped barrel and the Recoil Hawg muzzle brake with an integrated thread protector.
