It merges tested principles from the Model 70 with more streamlined manufacturing methods, making the XPR an excellent hunting rifle at a comparatively lower cost. The advanced polymer stock boasts superior grip in wet situations and can endure scratches and impacts, while the matte blued finish is durable and non-reflective. The receiver of the XPR is drilled and tapped for robust 8-40 screws.
Additional features of the XPR include a detachable box magazine, Inflex Technology recoil pad, M.O.A. trigger system, a bolt unlock button, and a bolt coated with nickel teflon for smooth operation and added longevity.
