The Model 70 Extreme Weather Stainless is expertly crafted with a Bell and Carlson composite stock, providing a solid and lightweight feel for optimized ergonomics. The matte finish in textured charcoal gray not only enhances aesthetics but also improves grip in challenging conditions.
Its sculpted cheekpiece is expertly designed to facilitate proper eye-to-scope alignment from any shooting position. The high performance magnum cartridges' felt recoil bite is efficiently alleviated by the thick, black Pachmayr Decelerator pad.
Seamlessly fitting into the Model 70 lineage, it also features a Pre'-64 type claw extractor with Controlled Round Feeding, enabling easy withdrawal of the cartridge from the chamber at any point beyond its exit from the magazine. The Extreme Weather SS rifle takes pride in its free-floating, fluted stainless steel barrel. Manufactured in the same factory as U.S. military rifles and machine guns, it also boasts a recessed target crown to ensure the rifling's protection.
