535773233 Winchester: The innovative Winchester XPR rifle is ideal for the expectations of the contemporary hunter. Its durable, straightforward design is sure to fill your freezer with game for years. More importantly, the feature-rich XPR bolt-action rifle exemplifies the enduring quality synonymous with Winchester Repeating Arms.
The engine behind every XPR rifle is Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System. The trigger housing and all the internal elements within the M.O.A. trigger consist of polished, hardened carbon steel with a blue finish, enhancing longevity and resistance to corrosion. Additionally, there's a two-position safety that's easily manipulated with the thumb of your shooting hand.
The bolt release button is right in front of the safety button, enabling the action to rotate unfired cartridges while the safety is engaged. The bolt shroud's cocking indicator presents both a tactile and visual signal of the rifle's cocked/uncocked status.
The sturdy XPR bolt comes from chromoly steel barstock and is thoroughly hardened during heat treatment. The bolt design features three front locking lugs and a short 60-degree lift, greatly improving scope clearance when cycling. It has a robust nickel Teflon coating for smooth operation and heightened rust resistance.
There's a one-piece trigger guard and magazine frame design that presents ample guard space for use with gloves. For outstanding accuracy with a wide range of bullet weights and categories, the XPR rifle has a chromoly steel barrel that's precisely button-rifled. The whole barrel is free-floating, eradicating any pressure points that may reduce accuracy.
The XPR further boasts a drilled & tapped chromoly steel receiver, a synthetic stock with an Inflex Technology recoil pad, and a detachable single stack box magazine.
