The Winchester 535771233, also known as the Winchester XPR, is a cutting-edge rifle designed to satisfy the rigorous performance requirements of contemporary hunters. Designed to be a strong, straightforward hunting tool, this rifle promises to keep your freezer stocked with game for many years ahead. The XPR bolt-action rifle is loaded with features and bears the enduring quality hallmark that Winchester Repeating Arms is known and respected for.
At the core of every XPR rifle is Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System. This essential component is composed of polished, hardened carbon steel, and features a blued finish for increased robustness and resistance to corrosion. Additionally, a conveniently-positioned, two-state safety can be easily manipulated using the thumb of your firing hand.
The bolt release button is situated just ahead of the safety button for easy cycling of unfired cartridges even when the safety is activated. You can quickly identify the rifle's cocked or uncocked condition thanks to the cocking indicator installed on the bolt shroud.
Constructed from chromoly steel barstock, the sturdy XPR bolt is through-hardened during heat treatment. The bolt design boasts three front locking lugs and a brief 60-degree lift for enhanced scope clearance during cycling. A durable nickel Teflon coating guarantees smooth operation and superior resistance to corrosion.
The rifle comes complete with a one-piece trigger guard and magazine frame, specifically designed with a large guard opening for ease of use when wearing gloves. The barrel of the XPR rifle is made from chromoly steel, carefully button-rifled to provide unparalleled accuracy across a range of bullet weights and types. This barrel is free-floating which eliminates all potential accuracy hindrances.
Added features of the XPR include a drilled and tapped chromoly steel receiver, synthetic stock fitted with an Inflex Technology recoil pad, and a detachable single-stack box magazine.
