The XPR bolt-action rifle is a trademark of Winchester Repeating Arms, a name synonymous with exceptional quality. At the core of each XPR is Winchester's revolutionary M.O.A. Trigger System. This component is produced using polished and hardened carbon steel with a blued finish, guaranteeing prolonged life and resistance to corrosion.
The rifle features a conveniently located two-position safety, which can be easily operated using the thumb of your shooting hand. An adjacent bolt release button allows cycling of unfired cartridges even when the safety is active. Plus, the presence of a cocking indicator provides a handy reference for the rifle's cocked/uncocked status both visually and through touch.
The XPR's sturdy bolt, made from hardened chromoly steel barstock, includes three front locking lugs and a short 60-degree lift, improving scope clearance during cycling. Its nickel Teflon coating offers seamless operation and enhanced corrosion resistance. A generous guard opening in the one-piece trigger guard and magazine frame design allows usage even with gloves.
The XPR rifle comes with a chromoly steel barrel that is button-rifled to perfection, ensuring superior accuracy with an array of bullet weights and types. The entire barrel has a free-floating design to eliminate potential pressure points that can compromise accuracy. Additionally, the XPR is designed with a drilled & tapped chromoly steel receiver, a durable synthetic stock featuring an Inflex Technology recoil pad, and a convenient detachable single stack box magazine.
