The Vanguard is known for its match-grade, adjustable two-stage trigger, which can be adjusted to as low as 2.5 lbs. In pursuit of smooth operation, the Vanguard resorts to a meticulously machined one-piece bolt body. It's fluted for weight reduction and minimal bearing surface area, ensuring no binding for a smooth action. Should accidental case ruptures occur, three gas ports are designed to allow high-pressure gases to escape laterally.
