The Weatherby IFC1228MAG belongs to the acclaimed Weatherby 18i series of semi-automatic shotguns, expertly designed to meet the needs of hunters and shooters in the most demanding conditions. This cutting-edge gun features an inertia recoil system that has been tried and tested in the field, resulting in reliable cycling and an evenly balanced weapon.
The shotgun comes with a 3-inch chamber, enhancing the efficiency of cycling lighter target and smaller game loads. Not to be overlooked is the single-piece receiver, masterfully machined from billet aluminum to ensure strength and simplicity.
Prioritizing comfort, the advanced polymer stock of the Weatherby 18i is ergonomically designed and adjustable via shims to perfectly fit any shooter. The series also includes a soft area on the cheek rest and an aggressive texture on the palm and foregrip, striking the perfect balance between comfort and ruggedness.
Target acquisition is made easy with a fully ventilated rib and high-resolution LPA fiber front sight, ensuring visibility even under poor lighting conditions. The Weatherby 18i is compatible with the Crio Plus choke system and comes standard with five choke tubes.
Some of the key features include an elasticity-recoil pad for reduced felt recoil, an ergonomic textured grip, a full-length ventilated top rib, and LPA Fiber sights. The camo pattern is applied directly to all metalwork and stock components for longevity.
The shotgun also boasts a chrome-lined bore and includes five crio plus choke tubes (cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified, full) with a storage case and choke wrench. The 18i series can hold 4+1 or 2+1 rounds with the included magazine limiting plug and is compatible with magazine tube extensions. The capacious 3-inch chamber ensures optimal performance in all conditions, making the Weatherby 18i the trusted companion for all serious outdoorsmen.
