Typhoon Defense X120801B: This incredible Typhoon Defense XII Monoblog 12GA shotgun is one of the best Turkish shotguns to come out in recent years. Typhoon Defense's attention to detail is apparent right out of the box. The XII Monoblog is a semi-automatic shotgun using Typhoon Defense's Gas Ejector System, which allows for reliable operation from AR-12 style magazines. The 18.5" barrel is chrome-lined for corrosion resistance and machined from perforated 4140 Full Steel for superior strength. The barrel is already threaded for external style chokes and includes three chokes of Typhoon Defenses' design, a mobile choke, an extended choke, and an XII special choke. The XII Monoblog has a 3" chamber to accept both 3" and 2 3/4" shotshells. Ships with (3) 5rd detachable magazines, so you are ready to defend the homestead or put food on the table. This model should also be able to accept most AR-12 style mags and drums. The Typhoon Defense features a 7075-T6 Aluminum upper receiver which comes optic ready with a Picatinny top rail and includes flip-up front and rear sight. The 12GA shotgun has been the go-to for home defense, and the Typhoon Defense XII Monoblog would make a great choice to defend your home.
The manufacturer recommends breaking in this firearm by heavily lubricating the magazines and firearm and then shooting 100 - 150 rounds of high brass shotshell.
