The Pursui XT by Traditions R67744404421 takes the admired Pursui line a notch higher! Known for its high strength and accuracy, its 26-inch Chromoly steel barrel makes the Pursui XT a lightweight yet precise muzzleloader. A standout feature is the VAP Twist barrel with a twist rate of 1:24, contributing towards increased shot stability and a wider range of bullet options - Smackdown Carnivore 250 grain bullet is highly recommended for use in this rifle.
The Pursui XT comes armed with the Elite X Trigger system, an upgrade promising accurate trigger pull, a rebounding hammer, and manual cross block trigger safety. It also boasts the Quick-Ramrod Handle that functions both as palm save and t-handle, offering better comfort and ease during rifle loading. Notably, this handle features a brass jag, allowing the ramrod to serve as a work or cleaning rod while sitting on the ramrod in storage position.
Compared to other mid-level muzzleloaders, the Pursui XT stands out with its feature-rich build and the capacity to maintain accuracy beyond 200 yards. It comes with a pre-mounted 3-9x40 Traditions Range-Finding matte black scope, however, sights are not included.
All in all, Pursui XT's features include 209 Shotgun Primer Ignition, 26" Ultralight Chromoly Tapered Fluted Barrel, VAP 1:24 Twist, Elite X Trigger System, accelerated breech plug for both loose and pelletized powder, LT-1 Alloy Frame, and a dual safety system.
