The Tikka JRTXE312, also known as the T3x Lite, is a high-functioning rifle that provides exceptional performance whilst being comfortably lightweight. The rifle features a double-secured safety mechanism which prevents unauthorised use by blocking both the trigger and bolt handle. The overall design of the action is focused on accuracy, reliability, and user-friendly servicing.
Other notable features include an action bolt with a spring-loaded plunger ejector and a removable bolt handle. The handle has a 70-degree opening angle, providing accessible and efficient operation. The singular steel trigger includes vertical grooves for extra grip. Conveniently, it is adjustable through the magazine well, with a setting range of 2 to 4 lbs.
Focusing on the T3x receiver, it includes advancements such as a broadened angular ejection port, integrated rails for scope mounts, and it is carefully taped for a Picatinny scope mount base. The T3x Lite models are further complimented with the T3x synthetic stock. This introduces a modular pistol grip and forend capabilities for enhanced versatility and handling.
For optimal comfort and a robust grip during varied weather conditions, the rifle is equipped with a classic low-angled grip with effective checkering. The barrel, crafted from cold hammer-forged stainless steel by Sako, boasts a hand-crowned finish. The model sports a blued metal finish and is specially designed to accommodate right-handed shooters.
