The Surefire EP4BKSPR Sonic Defenders Plus is designed to safeguard your hearing, while ensuring routine sounds and conversations are still audible. The unique triple-flanged stem design adapts well to larger ear canals and offers a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 24dB.
Safe level sounds are allowed to pass through to the ear canal, whereas potentially damaging noises (over 85dB) are minimised thanks to our proprietary design featuring a special noise-reducing filter. Accompanying the EP4s are filter caps, attachable for supplementary protection and to block out lower-level noise, highly beneficial during flights where listening to ambient noise or conversations is not essential.
The Sonic Defenders Plus are easy to differentiate with a right/left color-coding system and are crafted from a hypoallergenic polymer that is not only soft but durable, ensuring comfort throughout the day and a prolonged product life cycle (up to 6+ months, depending on usage and care).
