The Surefire EP4BKMPR, more commonly known as the EP4 Sonic Defenders Plus, are designed to protect your hearing without diminishing your ability to hear everyday sounds or carry on conversations. They are furnished with a triple-flanged stem design that accommodates larger ear canals and renders a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 24dB.

Safe level sounds can conveniently pass through to your ear canal while potentially damaging noises (above 85dB) are attenuated via a unique noise-reducing filter incorporated into the product's design. Furthermore, the EP4s come with attached filter caps that you can use for added protection and for blocking out lower-level noise, such as the type you would hear on an airplane. These are ideal for situations where hearing ambient sounds or conversations is not crucial.

The right and left Sonic Defenders Plus are color-coded for easy identification. They are constructed from a soft, yet sturdy and hypoallergenic polymer material to ensure comfort throughout the day and longevity of the product. The patented EarLock retention rings keep the earplugs securely in place, and the thin, adjustable, triple-flanged stems ensure a tight seal in the ear canals.
