The 1911DM by Standard Manufacturing is a remarkable feat of craftsmanship, boasting a full Damascus design. This elegant firearm is handcrafted by skilled artisans using timeless, medieval forging techniques. They mold the frame and slide into an intricate chain pattern Damascus, a process that combines both artistry and functionality.
Following this, the expert Gunsmiths at Standard Manufacturing meticulously shape each 1911 individually from the Damascus blocks. Polishing, stoning, and fitting such a weapon is labor-intensive, and only achievable by the most highly trained gunsmiths, making this a rare piece. Because of the time, skill, and labor required to create each Damascus 1911, they are produced in limited quantities, which we expect will prompt very high demand.
Specifications of the Damascus 1911 include a Chain Pattern 4140 Carbon Steel Damascus frame and slide, a 5-inch Stainless Steel Match Grade Barrel equipped with a Match Bushing, a Lowered and Flared Ejection Port, and Rear Slide Serrations. Also, it features High Profile Low-Mount Tactical Sights, an Enhanced Slide to Frame Fit, an Up-swept Beavertail Grip Safety, and an Extended Magazine Release. Its Checkered Mainspring Housing, a Fully Machined Extended Tactical Thumb Safety, a Slide Stop, and a Medium Solid Match Grade Trigger with a 4.5 lb Trigger Pull ensures perfect balance and performance.
