The Sierra Bullets 1505, also known as MatchKing Bullets, are regarded as Sierra's superior target bullets. The aim behind every MatchKing bullet design is to achieve maximum accuracy. These bullets are distinguished by their extremely thin jackets, precisely drawn to a concentricity standard that varies by no more than 0.0003 inches. Furthermore, their weight adheres strictly to an exacting standard within -+0.3 grain.

All MatchKing bullets are characterized by their hollow point design and exceptionally small meplat, contributing to a high ballistic coefficient. Most of these bullets also have a boat tail shape, designed to reduce drag and further enhance the ballistic coefficient. While some of these bullets have been employed in hunting, Sierra primarily recommends them for target shooting purposes.
