The SCCY Industries CPX1TTORG3 is a seamlessly designed pistol, primarily for concealed carry. Despite its compact size, it provides a generous grip which enhances handling. Known to be one of the most affordable yet efficiently made 'Pocket Pistols' in the marketplace, its quality is top-notch.
Fabricated from 7075 T6 aircraft-grade, heat-treated aluminum alloy, the receiver symbolizes durability. The Zytel polymer frame of the CPX-1 comes with an inbuilt recoil cushion situated on the backstrap, providing greater comfort while handling.
The slide, crafted out of stainless steel, features a Zytel overmolded polymer extension, contributing to its operational ease. The CPX-1 operates on a double-action-only (DAO) system and includes an internal hammer with an inertial firing pin to prevent unintended discharge. Further safety measures include an external thumb safety system with a guard molded directly into the frame.
Its trigger offers a consistent pull weight of 9 pounds, ensuring smooth operation. This package includes two 10-round magazines that come with finger extension bases already fitted and an extra pair of flat magazine bases.
With the introduction of the Generation 3 (Gen3) model, numerous enhancements have been incorporated to the CPX-1. These upgrades include a picatinny rail, improved sight, and a more superior grip.
