Its design pays a respectful tribute to the original, yet this Savage 1911 is structured solidly for rigorous usage. Infused within its details, such as the nitride coated titanium firing pin and the precision target crown on the barrel, resides the promise of both excellent precision and unfailing dependability. Features include: Durable forged stainless steel frame and slide, a 5-inch stainless steel barrel, precisely machined from billet with a 1-inch target crown. The dual recoil spring system is complemented with a GI-style guide rod and barrel bushing (applicable exclusively to 45 Auto). The ejection port is skillfully enhanced: lowered, flared, and crafted to assure live round expulsion. A firing pin veiled in nitride-coated titanium, a meticulously carved tool steel sear and disconnector, completed with a stainless steel hammer. The Nova Lo-Mount adjustable tritium bar rear sight, combined with the tritium Mega Dot Glow Dome Yellow front sight, promises unerring targeting.
