Russian VEPR SUPER .308 Rifle w/ 25.5" BBL- VPRS-308-02

The VEPR is simply the highest quality rifle based on the Kalashnikov design. The VEPR Rifles and Carbines are sporting arms based on the famous Soviet designed RPK. VEPR rifles are manufactured at the historic Vyatskie Polyany Machine Building Plant (a.k.a. "MOLOT").

Molot has been building excellence into their firearms for over 50 years. 

The Vepr is 50% more reinforced than a standard, stamped AK rifle. Each rifle has been manufactured using state of the art technology, effectively creating a heavier duty piece that will last not just a lifetime but for many generations to come. The RPK-style barrels are hammer forged and chrome lined using techniques that make them four to five times stronger than a standard AK or RPK barrel.

This Vepr Super in .308 Rem caliber features a front sight/gas block combination and has a pinned thread protector on the end of the barrel. The furniture for this firearm is a solid piece of precision shaped walnut that runs the entire length of the body, ending at the foregrip. A unique feature to this particular firearm is the removable trigger housing and an extended magazine catch. A scope rail is attached to the left side of the receiver and a scope mount (not included) can be attached to this rail system.

Each rifle comes with high quality, beautifully crafted walnut furniture as well as a rear sight with adjustable windage.
