The original 7.62x39 caliber Saiga rifle is the single most popular semi-automatic 7.62x39 caliber hunting/sporting style firearm in the country in the past. Combines lightning fast handling with legendary Russian reliability. Accurate too. It has been banned from import since 2014 and is very hard to come by. If you want the purity of a true Russian firearm with an AK type action, you can't go wrong with a Saiga.
