Ruger 40159: The Mark IV Target pistol by Ruger boasts a straightforward, single-button takedown process, which allows for uncomplicated field-stripping and comprehensive cleaning from chamber to muzzle. It incorporates a recessed button situated at the back of the frame, enabling the upper receiver to tilt and disengage from the grip frame, eliminating the need for any tools. The gun features an integrated, CNC-machined grip frame, produced with absolute precision. Its design is further enhanced with an ergonomic bolt stop, a formed ejection port, and bolt ears that are easy to handle, all contributing to a robust and reliable operation for successive rounds.
The firearm's accurate sighting system comprises an adjustable rear sight and a receiver that's drilled and tapped, suitable for Weaver or Picatinny-style rails (note, the rail is not included with the purchase). The pistol incorporates an infallible ambidextrous manual safety that securely locks the sear in the "safe" position when activated. It also provides the option of conversion to left-side only operation with the included washer. This particular model comes with two 10-round magazines and is finished off elegantly with laminate wood grips.
