Since the introduction of the pistol in 2008, the LCP has been setting the standard for a lightweight, compact, and reliable EDC pistol. The new .22 LR LCP II incorporates Ruger's newly designed "Lite Rack" system, which allows the shooter to manipulate the slide with ease. The Lite Rack system includes aggressive slide serrations, pronounced cocking ears, and lighter recoil spring. When combined, the features ease the burden of manipulating the slide for all shooters regardless of hand size or strength. This pistol was also optimized by the company to function with high-velocity shells.
