The Ruger 5460 is a lightweight, compact revolver from Ruger's LCR range, known for its extremely smooth trigger action and highly manageable kickback. The revolver boasts a single, solid frame that features a versatile grip peg which facilitates the use of various grip styles. Further enhancing its durability and strength is an extensively fluted and high-strength stainless steel cylinder, coated with a PVD finish.
It hosts a ground-breaking design in its fire control systems with the patented, friction-reducing cam system, which results in a smooth, non-stacking trigger pull. The revolver's patented polymer fire control housing serves two key purposes - it maintains the correct dimensional relationships of the fire control components and significantly reduces the weight of the firearm, thus assisting in recoil reduction.
All LCR revolvers are equipped with a replaceable, pinned ramp front sight with a white bar. Furthermore, the LCRx models come with an external hammer, allowing them to be fired in single-action mode. The LCRx revolvers, specifically those with a powerful 357 Magnum, feature a frame made from resilient 400 series stainless steel.
This particular model flaunts a sleek matte black finish with a 1.87" barrel, an integral u-notch rear sight, and comes pre-fitted with a black Hogue Tamer Monogrip for optimal handling.
