Our friends at James River Armory built these for us for a while out of original military parts kits that we had. They were one of our most popular rifles at the time and also one of my personal favorites, so I took one of our nicest ones and stuck it in my safe. That is where it has remained until now but now it's time to let it go......I may not know much but I do know this. Whoever gets this is going to get a really nice rifle. Now more about the rifle. Romanian AKM / AK47 Semi-Auto Rifle, 7.62x39 16" new U.S. made barrel with 45 degree muzzle break, original laminated wood stock and rare laminated Dong forearm. - These rifles were built by James River Armory on stamped receivers. JRA built these rifles using Romanian AK parts kits. This rifle come chambered in 7.62x39. Not only is this rifle a great collector's item but it is also a fantastic shooter. This rifle ships in a nice heavily padded rifle case for maximum protection, value, and convenience. The carry cases may vary in type from order to order based on availability, but it will always work great for carrying and storing the rifle as well as adding tremendous value to the purchase. James River Armory produced these rifles and they are top-notch builds. Using a new US barrel and US receiver, they are built to provide years of service and are rock solid. This rifle has been represented here through images and description with 100% accuracy as I know it and if you are not comfortable buying it based on this information Do Not Make the Purchase. All sales are final on this rifle. This rifle requires a full FFL. ....The back story. Over the last 30 plus years in the gun business I have acquired some really nice surplus firearms. These guns came from Gun Shows, private collections, and private individuals that I have met along the way, as well as, on occasion, what I would deem as the best of a particular lot when it came in here to Classic. Well, all good things must end and at this point in my life it is time to downsize a little and that includes letting go of some of these "Gun Safe Queens" that I have typically only pulled out to clean ever so often. Now don't get me wrong, there was a time when I would not have even considered giving up one of these firearms as they have been very special to me. However, my daughters show no interest in inheriting them, and I've decided that I would rather see them in the hands of folks that would relish them, than to have them to continue sit in a dark safe here at Classic. Each gun from my private collection is unique and they will sell individually by serial #, so when that gun is gone, it is gone and irreplaceable. At least from me.
