In order to streamline the often tedious process of chamfering, deburring, primer pocket cleaning, military crimp removal, and flash hole deburring, there's the RCBS Trim Mate Case Prep Center. This device possesses five gear-driven heads that rotate each tool, requiring the user simply hold the brass at the correct position until they achieve desired results.
The Primer pocket uniformers are specially designed to cut primer pockets to the exact depth specified by SAAMI, effectively removing accumulated carbon residue from earlier firings and aligning the bottom of the primer pocket with the case head. This procedure is critical as variances in the seating depth of the primer can alter how the firing pin makes contact with the primer, leading to uneven ignition.
