The RCBS 31401 is a two-die set specifically designed for the reloading of bottleneck cases. This comprehensive set includes a Full-Length Sizer Die equipped with an Expander-Decapping Unit and a Seater Die furnished with a Bullet Seater Plug.
The Full-Length Sizer Die effectively gives the case the defined Saami minimum cartridge dimensions. This is achieved by not only sizing the case exterior, but also by de-priming and expending the neck to readily accept the bullet. The design of the die incorporates vents that work to prevent case damage by efficiently dissipating trapped air and excess lubricant.
Exceptional headspace control ensures minimum tolerances, preventing any changes to the case body length throughout the full length sizing process. Complimentary to this set, a Seater Die is provided. This die features a built-in roll crimper that simultaneously secures the bullet as it is seated, delivering an efficient and streamlined reloading process.
