The RCBS 16501 is a premium two-die set, typically applied in the reloading of bottleneck cases. The set encompasses a Full-Length Sizer Die replete with an Expander-Decapping Unit, and a Seater Die equipped with a Bullet Seater Plug.
The primary purpose of the Full-Length Sizer Die is to conform the case to the Saami minimum cartridge dimensions. It efficiently sizes the case's exterior, de-primes, and broadens the neck to receive the bullet. Boasting vents, the die safeguards the case from damage instigated by potential air entrapping or excess lubricant.
The set is designed with remarkable attention to detail. The headspace is maintained within strict tolerances to circumvent any alteration to the case body length during the full-length sizing process.
Also included in the set is the proficient Seater Die. This crucial component possesses an integrated roll crimper, facilitating the simultaneous securing and seating of the bullet.
