The RCBS 10801 is a two-die set designed specifically for reloading bottleneck cases. The set includes a Full-Length Sizer Die with an Expander-Decapping Unit as well as a Seater Die with a Bullet Seater Plug. The Full-Length Sizer Die is constructed to conform the case to Saami minimum cartridge dimensions. It is responsible for resizing the case's exterior, de-priming and expanding the neck to accommodate the bullet.
This die also features vents constructed in a way to dodge case damage that could be occurred due to trapped air or an overabundance of lubricant. The headspace is maintained within minimum tolerances to avoid alterations to the case body length during the full-length sizing process. The Seater Die included in the set comes with an integrated roll crimper for simultaneously seating and securing the bullet.
