The Hellpup tactical AK-47 pistol from Pioneer Arms in Poland Just Got Better with the introduction of the Hellpup Elite. The Hellpup Elite is manufactured in Radom Poland by Pioneer Arms . The original Hellpup and the Hellpup Elite are virtually identical with one unique exception. The Hellpup Elite features a factory installed picatinny optic base molded into the rear sight base. This unique optic rail has a V Notch in the rear allowing it to still be used as an open sight pistol, however, the user also now has the unique ability to add their preference of weaver based optics. Short Scopes, no problem... Red Dots, go for it., Quick Acquisition Reflex Sights, you betcha.... The mount is extremely stable as it is molded right into the rear sight base allowing for zero movement on the attached optic.

Both models are chambered in 7.62x39 caliber. With a short 11.73" inch barrel and no rear stock it is one of the most compact AK pistols on the market. Muzzle flash is suppressed with a Krinkov-style flash hider. The gun weighs less than 7 pounds empty and has an overall length of only 21.85 inches! The Hellpup Elite is fully warrantied by Pioneer Arms U.S.A. in Florida. As A Bonus - Each Hellpup Elite pistol ships with 1 original Gen 3 30rd Polish AK-47 magazines. Note - The rear sight aperature on the Hellpup Elite does not adjust for elevation like a standard AK rear sight. It has a V-Notch Only built into the optic rail. If you want the ability to mount an optic then this is the model for you but you will be sacrificing the sliding rear sight. That is really no big deal for most on a pistol as most pistols are simply V-Notch and most buyers have stated the desire for the ability to mount an optic on this type firearm which this configuration provides. However if you want a standard rear sight, in lieu of the ability to mount an optic, then you should choose the standard Hellpup.
