The Pioneer Arms GROM Series of AK47 Rifles is a new offering from this Polish Manufacturer and Importer of fine Kalashnikov style firearms. Named after the Polish special forces GROM unit, these rifles are a new take on rifle-length AK47s. Using the ever-popular Hellpup design as a base for this rifle, these feature 11.73” 1 in 10 twist barrel with a pinned and welded barrel extension legally making the barrel a full 16 inches in length and allowing them to be classified as rifles. Since these are classified as rifles and feature rear AKM reaceiver tangs, and have the rail system up front, there are an infinite number of butt stock, and vertical front grip options that can be utilized on this new platform, making it extremely versatile. Featuring a 90 degree Hellpup gas block with a shrouded front sight post, and most importantly a rear AK47 receiver tang, this rifle redefines the style of the AK moving forward.

This specific model features a traditional side folding Polish AK stock that mounts to the standard AK receiver tang these feature, a Quad Picatinny rail handguard, rubber picatinny rail covers, additional handguard shims for extra tight fitting if needed, a SVRN brand picatinny optics rail that can be applied to the firearm and replace the rear iron sight allowing for red dot’s to be mounted directly to the front trunnion, as well as a traditional side optics rail mount. These will also feature an enhanced manipulation shelf safety selector.
