The Pioneer Arms GROM Series of AK47 Rifles is a new offering from this Polish Manufacturer and Importer of fine Kalashnikov style firearms. Named after the Polish special forces GROM unit, these rifles are a new take on rifle-length AK47s. Using the ever-popular Hellpup design as a base for this rifle, these feature 11.73” 1 in 1 twist rifled barrels with a pinned and welded barrel extension legally making the barrel a full 16.5 inches in length and allowing them to be classified as rifles. This particular model comes with the highly popular original laminated wood furniture giving it the classic look and feel of the original military AK. This rifle features a 90 degree Hellpup gas block with a shrouded front sight post. This Grom series rifle redefines the style of the AK-47.

The GROM series of rifles are full of features. The Polish Pioneer Arms GROM is an excellent choice for AK47 collectors. The safety selector features a Bolt Hold Open Notch. As a side note, with the barrel being pinned and welded to 16.5”, this is a non-threaded barrel firearm, though the muzzle extension will act as a narrow blast can focusing the concussion forward.
