The Pearce Grip PGMPS45 is designed to replace the magazine base plate on the M&P Shield 45. Its purpose is to provide an extension without changing the magazine's capacity. The added extension creates approximately 3/4" inch additional gripping area. Please be advised that this particular model is not compatible with S&W Shield 9 or 40.
