The Polish Military and Police Forces replaced the P64 with the P83 in the 1980's because the model 83 holds more ammo, features a better trigger pull, and has easier recoil management. The P83 "WANAD" pistols were manufactured at Radom (Factory 11) by Z.M. Lucznic from stampings and weldments. The gun features chromed bores, double action trigger function with slide mounted decocker, slide lock and external hammer. 8 plus 1 capacity, complete with 1 mag.
