Ozbay Arms 12EGX500: This high-quality 12 gauge would make a great new addition to the shotgun enthusiast or discerning shooter. The sleek bullpup design is compact and highly maneuverable, making it perfect for home defense, competitive shooting, or a day at the range. The EGX 500 features an 18.5” barrel with a 3” chamber that is surrounded by a 7075 aluminum frame. At the same time, the lower receiver and integrated pistol grip are comprised of incredibly durable polymer, which is not only ultra-strong but also aids in keeping the overall package lighter than most shotguns. It comes with (2) 5 round magazines and accepts virtually all 5 & 10 round AR-12 style magazines. Other features include Picatinny rails on the top & sides for easy optics mounting, an ergonomic pistol grip, angled foregrip with hand stop, adjustable cheek rest, an ambidextrous safety selector, a choke tube set, and front and rear flip-up sights. It also features a spiral design barrel shroud that gives this model an awesome tac-ti-cool look that is both practical and stylish. From a function standpoint, the Ozbay EGX 500 features an ultra-smooth trigger and the latest generation improved gas system that has been found to be incredibly reliable.The bottom line is, this is one great shotgun, at one great price.
NOTE: This model comes with two 5 round magazines and flip-up sights as well as additional chokes. The 3" chamber allows for this shotgun to shoot both 2 3/4" and 3" shotshells. This model utilizes standard AR-12 magazines that are both plentiful and inexpensive. Due to the angle of the pistol grip, you can not use drum mags in this or most other bullpup models.
