Drawing on their years of tactical industry experience, the active military operators who designed this sling left no stone unturned in overcoming the deficiencies of other slings in the marketplace. Having been disappointed with most generic single-point sling’s unrestrained movement, they set out to create a new type of single-point sling with a built-in retention system. The McLean Sling uses a Patented Quick Release Design which offers the versatility of a single point sling yet offering the ability to be retained as a 2 point sling. On its own, a generic single-point sling offers dynamic movement with your rifle for CQC/CQB environments. It is great for switching shoulders, shooting under cars or around barricades and even simple things such as just performing combat reloads or transitioning to your secondary/pistol. However, without constant positive control, single-point slings will freely sway and bounce against the user, and running or climbing with one is next to impossible.
