The Magpul MAG680-FDE is the Zhukov-U Hand Guard that has been cleverly designed to be 1.5" shorter than the original Zhukov AK Hand Guard. This adjustment allows for integration with shorter barreled rifles and pistols, making full-length rifles feel more active at the front end. Another advantage of the shorter design is its ability to house military-grade cleaning rods.

Accommodating modern shooting techniques, the Zhukov-U Hand Guard is the extension option you've been looking for. It boasts a strong, heat-dispersing aluminum chassis housed under a polymer exterior that ensures superior ergonomics. The extended length provides an ample gripping surface, and with M-LOK slots located at the three, six, and nine o'clock positions, you'll be able to directly mount M-LOK accessories or M-LOK 1913 Picatinny rail sections as desired.

With a full-length, hard-anodized aluminum chassis that clamps directly to the barrel, you're promised a flex-free mounting and excellent heat shielding. The guard includes a polymer top cover replacement that is compatible with the UltiMAK Optics Mount top cover.

Please note, installing the Zhukov-U Hand Guard necessitates the permanent removal of the factory hand guard retaining cap and forward sling mount, should your device be equipped with them. Ensure your barrel diameter under the hand guard measures between 16.75-18.25 millimeters before proceeding with the removal of your retaining cap. As a word of caution, this guard is not recommended for barrels shorter than 11.5" due to its extended length. This product is proudly made in the USA.
