Magpul MAG620-PLM MOE AKM Hand Guard AK-47/AKM/AK-74 Polymer/Stainless Steel Plum

The Magpul MAG620-PLM, also known as the MOE AKM Hand Guard, is a superior replacement hand guard compatible with standard AK-47/AKM/AK-74 pattern rifles. It fits perfectly with original stamped receivers incorporating a front sling loop on the hand guard retainer. This model boasts an extended gripping section, built-for-intensity heat-resistant polymer construction, and is equipped with an integrated black oxide coated stainless steel heat shield.

In addition to its robust construction, it offers an added advantage with its M-LOK mounting capability and replacement gas tube cover. With convenient slotting at three, six, and nine o'clock positions, it allows mounting of direct-attach M-LOK accessories or M-LOK 1913 Picatinny rail sections.

Not only does the MOE AKM Hand Guard accept factory cleaning rods, but it also comes with a replacement polymer top cover compatible with the UltiMAK Optics Mount top cover. It should be noted, however, that due to the AK's wide-ranging tolerances, minor fitting may be necessary. Also, this model isn't compatible with Yugo pattern rifles, RPK style receivers, or milled receivers.
