Introducing the Magpul MAG516-GRY adapter: This state-of-the-art adapter is uniquely designed with a Cross-Bolt Lock Bar in the Paraclip. This feature gives users the option to lock the lever closed, providing an added layer of security. A testament to durability, the steel Paraclip lever undergoes case hardening and is finished with Melonite, affording it impressive resistance to wear and corrosion.
In terms of rear mounting, the adapter pairs well with the Magpul Asap, allowing for seamless shoulder transitioning in one-point mode. It is also compatible with SGA Receiver Sling Mounts and can be used with snap-hook style sling loops* and standard or quick-detach (QD) sling swivels.
For front mounting, you can use it with the Magpul RSA, MSA, and Forward Sling Mounts for smooth functioning. It further adds to its extensive compatibility by integrating with snap-hook style sling loops*, and standard or QD sling swivels when used in two-point mode.
*Please note: Snap-hook style sling loops should have an inner diameter of at least 3/8" to function correctly. However, a larger size such as 9/16" and above will ensure full range of motion.
