The Magpul MAG516-COY is an adaptable accessory that features a Cross-Bolt Lock Bar located within its Paraclip. This optional feature offers users an added layer of security by locking the lever closed if desired. The steel Paraclip lever is case-hardened and finished with a layer of Melonite, imbuing it with significant resistance to wear and corrosion.
This product is ideal for rear mounting and works seamlessly with Magpul's ASAP system to enable optimal shoulder transitions in one-point mode. Compatibility extends to SGA Receiver Sling Mounts and many snap-hook style sling loops. It also works with standard or QD sling swivels.
For front mounting, this adapter is compatible with Magpul RSA, MSA, and Forward Sling Mounts. It can again be used alongside many snap-hook style sling loops and standard or QD sling swivels for reliable use in two-point mode. Please note, Snap-hook style sling loops require an inner diameter of at least 3/8", but ones sized 9/16" and larger are recommended for a full range of motion.
