The Magpul MAG515-GRY, also known as the MS3 Single QD, is a high-quality product that upholds the same material construction and specifications as the standard MS3. What sets it apart is its robust push-button QD Sling Swivel which replaces the Magpul Paraclip for one-point (rear) weapon attachment. This upgrade ensures it is compatible with QD sling cups that are often found on lower receivers, receiver end plates, and buttstocks.
The rear sling mount of the MAG515-GRY is designed to integrate seamlessly with receivers, end plates, and buttstocks equipped with a QD socket for one-point attachment. On the other hand, the front sling mount is versatile, being compatible with the Magpul RSA, MSA, and Forward Sling Mount. It can also accommodate many snap-hook style sling loops and standard or QD sling swivels when used in two-point mode.
Please note that snap-hook style sling loops must have an inner diameter of at least 3/8" to be compatible, but we recommend using those that are 9/16" and larger to enable full range of motion of the Paraclip.
