The Magpul MAG514-RGR, also known as MS3, is a versatile and adaptable sling system. It allows the user the benefits of either one-point attachment for direct action maneuvers or two-point attachment for added stability. It's crafted with quick-release, positive-locking hardware and is designed for easy single-handed adjustments, offering remarkable flexibility and sturdy construction.

In its second generation, the MS3 is updated with a streamlined quick-adjust slider. It also showcases Symmetrical Paraclip shackles that enable swift transitions and give the weapon quick-release functionality. For enhanced safety, each Paraclip is equipped with a cross-bolt lock bar that can be optionally locked closed.

The steel Paraclip levers are case-hardened and undergo a ferritic nitrocarburizing process, ensuring exceptional resistance to corrosion and wear. The rear sling mount functions seamlessly with the Magpul Asap application to enable optimal shoulder transitioning in one-point mode and the SGA Receiver Sling Mount. This system also boasts of an impressive compatibility with numerous snap-hook style sling loops and standard or QD sling swivels.

The front mounting, on the other hand, works well with the Magpul RSA, MSA, and Forward Sling Mount. Similarly, it accommodates various snap-hook style sling loops and standard or QD sling swivels when used in two-point mode. Please take note that snap-hook style sling loops should ideally have an inner diameter of a minimum of 3/8". Although an inner diameter of 9/16" or larger will enable a full range of motion.
