Frankly I don't know exactly how to describe this rifle. It is truly like unlike anything I have ever seen before. The M10X Elite is fully engineered and manufactured in the United States by the fine folks at M+M Firearms. It utilizes AK mags and is basically built on an AK platform but to simply call this another AK rifle would do a tremendous dis-service to the rifle. This rifle borrows some of the best features of the AK-47, AR-15, FN-FAL, Israli Galil, etc. into one very special and precision made rifle.
M10X Elite Upgrades Spring 2016:
Since initial production of our rifle last fall our engineering team developed a few upgrades while working on a military variant in order to cater to a larger variety of ammo available in the U.S. commercial market. The upgrades deliver higher reliability and performance, increasing the life expectancy of the rifle and improve the shooters ultimate experience. These parts cost more to manufacture but since our ultimate goal is delivering performance, accuracy and reliability, it is worth doing for our customers. Coupled with our promise of delivering quality and value combined with our pledge to stand behind the products we sell, we decided to offer these upgrades to our customers free of charge for a limited time.
The updates that will be included in all new production include:
- BOLT: New high corrosion resistant extractor installed. New extractor axis that eases its replacment.
- GAS PISTON ROD: New improved design to operate more reliably at extreme temperatures.
- EXTRUSION: Added features in order to improve the life expectancy and operatewith a larger variety of hi powered ammo. Increased the scratch resistance by upgrading to Type III mil spec anodized finish.
- CHARGE HANDLE: Improved the ‘latch paw’ for better performance and reliability.
- Upper/Lower RECEIVER CATCH/LATCH Improvement: Enhances accuracy and reliability.
If you purchased an M10X Elite prior to these upgrades being implemented, contact M+M about have your rifle upgraded under warranty! The free upgrade package will be offered between June 1, 2016 July 31, 2016.

- Plunger-style ejector assures even ejection pattern regardless of the load of rounds used.

A few reviews from M10X customers:
"My M+M M10X Elite 7.62×39 rifle came in yesterday. Gotta say the fit and finish of this rifle is impeccable. Very impressed with the mag lockup, zero wobble. Rifle feels good in my hands, very nice balance and overall feel. Hoping to get some range time with it very soon."
"I absolutely love the rifle, it was well worth the wait. I cleaned it this morning, very easy indeed, and I was kind of surprised at how clean it was after putting 90 rounds through it. The finish on this rifle is impeccable. There is no comparison to your standard $600 AK47. Don’t believe me, find someone who sells it and go look at it and hold it for yourself. Is it worth the cost That depends on you and your budget. I personally think the rifle meets the price point and then some. And I think the reviews to come from professionals in the field will backup my claim. The 7.62x39 is a beautiful round and one of the cheapest to get on the market. Now I have all the benefits of a well finished accurate AR with the added benefit of shooting the 7.62x39."
