The LWRC's IC-A5 is expertly crafted for high performance using top-notch quality materials. The design encompasses a low-profile, two-position adjustable gas block that enables the shooter to make allowances for using a suppressor while simultaneously benefiting from an elongated modular rail system.
The upper rail section is a unique cutback version, facilitating the use of the low-profile gas block and maintaining the full 12" modular rails on the sides and bottom of the handguards. The dual control fully ambidextrous lower receiver allows for access to bolt catch and release, magazine release, and fire control from both sides.
Furthermore, the cold hammer-forged barrel is treated with NiCorr and features spiral fluting. The bolt carrier, coated with Nickel-boron, offers unmatched wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and permanent lubricity. The IC-A5 is equipped with LWRCI Skirmish back-up iron sights, an ambidextrous charging handle, an LWRCI adjustable compact stock, a Magpul MOE+ grip, and an A2 Birdcage flash hider.
