The Hunting Shack BER6REM95VLD is a product of HSM's exclusive partnership with Berger to deliver their Trophy Gold rifle ammunition line. This astounding ammunition features Berger's top-tier VLD (Very Low Drag) hunting bullets, making it an ideal load for hunting game of all sizes. Until recently, Berger's VLD hunting bullets, recognized for their highest achievable ballistic coefficient, were solely obtainable by hand loaders.
These exceptional bullets are engineered to make shots that span beyond 300 yards, while still offering superior performance at close range. The design of the bullet incorporates a sharp hollow point nose, which has been meticulously engineered to penetrate between 2" and 3" prior to the beginning of expansion.
Upon expansion, the bullet sheds 40% to 85% of its weight as shrapnel into the surrounding tissue and organs. This process creates a disastrous wound channel, ensuing in the majority of the bullet's energy and hydrostatic shock being expended throughout the mass of the target. This guarantees an exceedingly effective wound, resulting in the devastating impact that hunters need for a successful game.
