The Hunting Shack BER24395VLD is a result of an exclusive partnership between HSM and Berger, culminating in the creation of their Trophy Gold rifle ammunition. This ammunition is specifically designed for varying sizes of game, and loaded with Berger's top-level match-grade VLD (Very Low Drag) hunting bullets for enhanced performance.

Formerly, these superior-quality VLD hunting bullets were solely accessible to personalized loaders. These bullets boast the highest attainable ballistic coefficient designed for long-distance shots over 300 yards, while maintaining exceptional close-range performance.

The innovative design of the VLD features a sharp hollow point nose, meticulously engineered to penetrate between 2" and 3" prior to starting expansion. Following this, the bullet sheds between 40% to 85% of its weight as shrapnel into the surrounding tissue and organs. This creates a powerful wound channel, which results in the bullet's energy and hydrostatic shock being extensively expended throughout the target animal, causing maximal damage.
