The creativity infused into the construction of Hevi-Shot's uniquely-shaped pellets is evident in their outstanding performance compared to traditional round pellets, particularly in causing extensive tissue damage. The quick spread of the Hevi-13 #7 shot implies that a small miss could still result in a downed bird. On the other hand, the #5 shot can take down targets from far greater distances than regular lead ammunition.
