Guard Dog Body Armor UHMWPE-IIIA-PLATE: Guard Dog Body Armor’s Level IIIa ceramic 10”x12” plates are made from a combination of Alumina and PE, tested to 0101.06 National Institiute of Justice (NIJ) Level IIIa standards. These 3a Ultralight plates are 10"x12", have a SAPI style cut allowing for maximum protection while giving great freedom of movement, and sport a UV + water resistant cover, that coupled with the ceramic material creates a spall guard. The most astonishing features of this ultralight model are that they weigh less than 15oz each and are razor thin at under 2.54cm wide, while their counterparts are typically an inch in width! Great for IIIA protection for sustained periods of time, or for someone who needs a slimmer, lighter option for protection.
